There’s no time like the present!

How often are we told the importance of living in the present moment ‘being mindful of our thoughts words and actions, enjoying what our creator has given us!?

This is easier said than done, when we are needing to plan for our future.

We are all trying so hard in this day and age to keep up mortgage payments, to plan great holidays and to ensure our children have the best in life, in the midst of all of these priorities we find we are all in survival mode making sure we tick all the boxes and forget about enjoying what we have now, our health, happiness, family and friends.

We get into a rut of thinking we must have things lined up perfectly before we put things into action. I need to be able to run for 5 minutes before I join a running club, I need to lose 2 kg’s before I commit to a diet, I need to do something perfectly before I give it a go for fear of failure.

In so doing this you fail to get started in the first place. Before we know it the days, weeks and months run away with us and we haven’t been successful in achieving any of our goals.

I invite you to break things down and think of one thing you would like to achieve for yourself this week, not next week or in a month and to set the time aside to do it, not only will you feel great for doing it but you will begin the steps of empowering yourself in seizing the moment when opportunity arises instead of letting things slide!
